Yes I have driven an 18 Raptor and ride wasn't bad and I am hoping 19s are even better. I did the full Carli Pinto 2.5 which is the 4.5" and did full deaver leaf pack. My truck spends 95% of it's time on highway and yes certain bumps it soaks them right up but all those guys saying they can hit speed bumps in parking lots and not spill their coffee are full of BS. In my truck you will, not sure why but it would. I even had my Kings redone and they were a little better but still not what everyone was talking about. So it was my first truck I ever did up like that and it was nice and rode better and handled better which was what I was going for but it's overkill for what I use a truck for. So the Raptor will fit that bill nicely. Plus my F250 got a new engine at 66K miles thanks to glow plug coming apart and it's not been the most reliable truck I've owned so I'm done with diesels. Good luck with your decision. That is a tough one but the new HD's look really good just like the Raptors at least to me.
That sucks you had so much trouble with your diesel. I've got 63,000 miles on my 2015 F250 and it's been deleted and tuned since about 2,000 miles. I haven't had any issues other than a starter getting replaced under warranty.
I agree that driving over speed bumps without spilling your coffee is a bit of a lofty claim, but general driving around town they sure are nice. My buddy airs out his F350 dually over a set of railroad tracks near his house that has most cars and trucks coming to almost a complete stop to go over without rattling their teeth out. He goes flying over them at 50-60MPH and it really does feel about like a Raptor.
I drove a 2018 Raptor yesterday, but wasn't able to give it much of a test since the seat belt recall limited our drive to only around 3-4 miles. It was nice and quiet, and the ride was pretty smooth, but we didn't go over any truly rough roads or highway joints. When I got on it hard, it went fairly quick, but definitely not the kick in the pants my diesel gives. I think that is what I would miss the most. The passing power of the diesel is just so hard to give up!
