Reports after a long road trip.
Getting a better idea of why there was complaining regarding the sound of the intake.
1. There is a small window, from like 67-70 MPH where there is some droning coming from the intake. I had the cruise set from 75-80 most of the day and did not hear any drone at those speeds.
2. Mild taps of the throttle at almost any highway speed produces a rather significant bellow (read some reviews that refer to it as a growl, but I don't think so. It growls like a SOB when accelerating hard, which I like, but tapping the throttle at HW speeds is an annoying WHOOOM). Actually rather surprising the amount of noise it makes even with extremely mild throttle input.
3. Still waiting on the tuner, hopefully it will alleviate some of the unnecessary noise and vibration, but we will see.
