I understand your pain all too well. As a child I had chronic bronchitis/pneumonia, so I was over prescribed Augmentin which carried a little known (but still known) side effect, permanent hearing loss. So I've had 40% hearing loss that degenerates yearly since I was about 10 years old, didn't get diagnosed until I was 18 and have had to wear hearing aids every year since. The US may have more care availability, but it's all sick care that is paid for starting at med school indoctrination by big pharma.

I hope they figure something out to help you.

Can confirm the med school and big pharma thing, my brother in law is an infectious diseases doc and believes everything he’s told by big pharma.
