You would have had time on Saturday night if we would have just took the highway and went home...and probably not wanting a winch near as bad either. haha.

ok so busa isnt a hardcore offroader he dont need a winch front and back.......
the easiest thing then is winch plate, winch and then a adapter for any bumper you use...

plus whats there to winch from as a base in the desert???? more likely you just need a anchor winch and your set.

dont need a winch when you go wheelin with buddies... thats usually your best bet is to not go out alone.. even winches can fail been there done that...

when the time comes and i mount my 2 other 50" led bars.... ill be getting a winch but sure as hell not a electric one...... ill be getting a hydraulic winch. seen to many electric winches fail here in our terrain

Ouch! LOL

I'm looking also. Probably going the receiver hitch route as I don't want to add 100 lbs to the front end permanently.

Umm yep the hitch is 60 pounds... the winch is about 80 pounds ... its the warn cradle and a superwinch 9500 ... I went with the rope instead of the steel cable to save weight.. But yes the part that bolted to the truck is about 60 pounds... But I ahve never seen a winch mount bumper under about 200 pounds so I figure from strictly weight I am ahead...

The base plate is 3/8 High strength steel, 3X5 structured steel welded in one beed all the way around with 1X2 structre steel welded to that to create a shear reinforced from side to side winch effect then pwder coated... 60 pounds total weight with grade 12.9 bolts to frame...
