I heard about this from another raptor owner here in oman last year, unfortunate, but then I am surprised more dont go pop when you see how they treat a vehicle out in the middle east. its not a car for a few years but an expendable toy to beat the crap out of until it dies, and when it does, just pop out and buy another.
I take mine into the wadis regularly and never see any issues- but the desert in 45 plus heat with no cool air whatsoever....its a recipe for a disaster. Then off course you could add a supercharger and really make things knife edged....pop in a few ounces of crappy workmanship and little or no local tuner support and there you go - dead raptor, or any car for that matter
