BDRAG, thanks. Mine clicks once when I increase the temp on either side from 60 to about 72 or so. Just once. Hopefully, that's enough for the dealer to take a look.

Boss, not sure what "Nope--will not fix it" means. I think the dealer will if I reproduce the sound.

Glad you were able to get it to click and pop. Take it in. Tell them its the blend door motor.

I think Boss Man is probably tired of his shit breaking. Prolly stick the next guy with the little stuff. I let mine go for months with a few clicks but then when it went! It popped for 20 minutes an stopped. I was about to find a fuse to pull! HAhaaaa. These trucks rock. I will take ANY of the nagging problems and keep mine because nothing else is as, well, a RAPTOR!

I think the new chevy grill is hideous. I know many with chevy trucks that are from 2005 to present and most have had an engine problem with burning oil. Some similar electrical issues as the Raptor and they all say they have rattles in side the cab.

Even after the TRR 1, a few meets with others to play, taking the jeep trails in Colorado, my cab is tight! Most of my warrantee issues have been taken care of by Ford and THAT is what a WARRANTEE is for.

I have owned Fords most of my 40years of driving. Ford went through some ****** years in the 70"s and 80"s before they fixed their problems. I had a 91 Acura Legand coupe that was THE BIGGEST POS as far as little shit going wrong. I had a file 2 inches thick of warrantee shit. I loved that ride too! Hated the dealer! We have a 2007 Honda CRV as my wifes work / drag the parents around ride. It has 52K on it and has been to the dealer ONCE in 6 years. That was for a cruise control switch. Didn't EVEN need it fixed but paid for it along with a few other things I wanted done. General maintenance stuff. It cost me more than what I spent on my Extended Warrantee on the Raptor. That Honda is a ROCK! Honda don't make RAPTORS YET! HAHaaaaaa. If they did I could be swayed away from Ford to try it! AHhaaaaa. But a Chevy Truck? Nothing newer than an 84. The 09 Vett we have is a chevy but that's a different, its not a chevy truck.

Rant complete! HAhaaaaa.

BDRAG-----good one! I am not a GM, Dodge or Ford man. Makes me no difference to me I will buy whatever is the best for me at the time. The main reason for wanting the new Chevy is the High Country interior as well as the new 6.2. It will be highly modified and after the motor and tranny are finished will be a screaming beast with a very pronounced lope. I am about performance plain and simple not the nameplate on the front of the truck.

Do love the Raptor even with the issues mine has had it's just getting older and the new one will not be ready for me for 3 years and that is IF Ford uses a engine fitting of the Raptor's heritage.

BTW the dreaded clicking has started again-----not doing it all of the time yet but the part is failing just a matter of time till it dies.
