Bad luck for sure. Off topic, what dealers "are" open on Sunday's? None anywhere near me that I know of. Just interesting regarding your comment on the dealer being closed.

Washington state allows dealers to be open on Sundays. Sales not service department.

The rain moved out and I made the 1.5 hour drive with the window down at 54°. The noisy Saran Wrap drove me crazy so it had to go while the heated wheel and seats kept it comfortable. Went straight to the dealer and they parked it inside.

Im assuming it is the driver door module but am unsure of what it’s functions are. Currently it displays the alerts for driver door open, transmission not in park, memory seat not available driving, no blind spot monitoring, “dimming”, and the cruise will not accept a “set” speed.

I will follow up with the diagnosis.

A lot older w/ simpler tech, but worth noting- my C5 Vette would go nuts displaying “reduced power, security, check engine” lights, have the radio cut out entirely, have hyper flash or no flash w/ turn signal, have HVAC die/malfunction

Noticed one day I hit a pothole & did the same act.

Turned out all of it was tied to a loose connector in the rubber accordion tube between the door & body - I bent the pins in the connector to make a more snug connection & zip tied it up a little more taut to hold in better position & voila- no more electrical gremlins.

Point being- something as innocent as door control module can cause a lot of weird stuff to happen. The modules “talk” to each other I guess & when certain ones have a failure can cause non-related issueS

What year is your truck?

I have also suffered from electrical issues after going through a car wash. They ended up replacing the “gateway module”. Seems that the connectors they use (at least in the 2019’s) are susceptible to water intrusion and the system is not fault tolerant.

It is a 2019. I think this was the first time I had parked it in the rain and it rained close to 2”.

Apparently one of my friends grabbed a pic as I was passing through town.

The dealer called today and said that they honestly have no idea yet what the problem is and they are still trying to trace it down. I was ensured it would be parked inside and updated as they make progress.

I still can’t stress how happy I am that this happened near family and near a car wash bay where I could seek shelter. I couldn’t imagine how defeated I would have been if it were a long country drive in a rain storm soaking the interior or sub zero temps. I keep my vehicles spotless. My 4 year old mustang with 8800 miles still smelled like a new car when I gave it up for the Raptor.
