I figured I would put my 2 cents i. I read a lot of reviews and was leaning towards SVC, Full Race or Cobb. I did run across Mountune and started looking at them. In my opinion they have one of the best designs looking at IC, connections and tubes.

Today I called them and talked with an Engineer named Tyler. He answered every question I had and was outstanding. He was the reason I decided to purchase besides I think it has best design. If he delivered this support without me buying, I believe they will be there in the end.

I wanted everyone if you are like me and knew nothing about them, to take a look.

I was on the fence for quite a while, each FMIC had its pros and cons. Mountune was at the top of my list but ended up with Cobb based on the suggestion of my tuner. The Mountune definitely looks like a well engineered unit.

Hope you got the 15% off with code SPRING19

Thanks! I a code and it took off about 20%, but thanks. Got it for $1439.20.

I also looked at the Cobb and was really considering it. The silicon hoses is the only thing I wasn't a fan of.

How are you liking the Cobb? See a huge improvement?

I’m debating over IC as well. Not in a rush but can’t decide which one.

I looked at Cobb, Fullrace, Garrett

JohnyPython,

Yes, I was in the same boat. Had my truck for 3 weeks and I was really torn between SVC/Full Race. I X'd Cobb out because I didn't like the silicon hoses they did. I thought they engineered a great product, but the hoses it what killed it on my list. I like what they did with the B valve, but Mountune keeps it in stock location.

FYI- if you want a cut frame bumper, Mountune might not be the choice. Won't know until I install it soon.

So I was between Full Race and SVC, until I saw Mountune. My installed was pushing SVC, but after showing him Mountune, he agreed it looked like a well engineered price, but he said for the extra engineering I was paying for it. When I said I got it for $1400, he said I would have too.

For anyone running Full Race, SVC, or Cobb, I think they are great systems, but for me it was on what I thought what is the best. Everyone has an opinion. lol

Everyone you are looking at are great companies. I also wanted something black behind my grill, not a fan of the silver.

BTW - I run Cobb CAI as I liked it the most also. lol

I looked at the Mountune a second time and I see what you mean about the silicone hoses. Mountune IC looks like a very nice unit. I have experience with Cobb and I like their stuff as well.

I’m gonna talk with my tuner and see what he says. Thanks for the input.

Good looking setup. Let us know how the install goes.

I’m in the market and still trying to figure out which setup I like the best.

The Cobb FMIC is still backordered but I'm glad they still shipped my AccessPort and intake, which should be arriving Monday! Part of what made my final decision was that I bought the entire Cobb package all at once. I considered getting the full Mountune setup but was unimpressed by their intake (which is just a rebranded Volant intake).

Let me know how the install goes, I may still end up canceling the Cobb FMIC as Mountune is within 30 min from me.

I will! CJ Pony shows having their IC in in stock if you want it. Like I mentioned I liked COBB CAI also and it’s installed on truck. I did go with a 5 star tune though.
