Fox, can we get an answer to this question?? Which perch level was the suspension "supposed" to be run with?

FOX cannot give any recommendation to change the OEM FOX SVT Raptor shocks from their factory settings. The OEM FOX SVT Raptor shocks was designed with the ability to relocated the snap ring / spring retainer. This change allows for a level ride height and increased compression travel. Other Raptor owners have said that the middle snap ring grove setting provides the best offroad handling with some minimal on road characteristics changes. Vehicle realignment is required with any of these changes.

simply put....do at your own risk....... fox wants to assume no responsibility for the actions you take regarding shock height adjustment. just because the shocks have an adjustment doesnt mean you should do it. it has been pre adjusted for the truck. that way if something goes wrong you cant say that fox said it was ok. and they cant get sued for this. they are protecting their ass in this sue happy place we call home.

am i right fox?

I thought this rumor to be debunked, when Greg and a few others questioned SVT about them designing the shocks on mid perch?

Straight from the horse's mouth. We may never know for sure, but they are definitely there for a reason and Fox didn't exactly deny that middle perch provides the best off-road handling either.
