I also love our Carbon fiber like center stacks. The new Raptors don't have that.

ya. The aux controller is also black so it looks plain and just doesn't get your attention.

And the "aluminum" trim that they get with the blue interior is hard to tell that its metal at all.
BUT, their leather seems like better quality than the early trucks.

I love my blue interior and I can see how it all being silver would be plain. I think the black will really look sharp!

I thought about that too, but I like that textured grey/black look. Its the silver that kills me the most. I thought about doing the silver in white to match, but I think it would be too gaudy and cheap looking. I painted all my bumpers and stuff in hammered gun metal grey and it looks badass. So im carrying it on to the inside.

if you're talking about gaudy, Ben is all ears. You're lucky his interior isn't spray painted gold yet.:derp:

I'm not THAT crazy. I do love my gold shocks though.

I'm staying tuned whtrapta. Thanks for manning-up and being the guinea pig.

Parts are painted. Had a few issues with it but its coming along well. We went to the store to look at new colors/textures/finishes. I ended up with a satin finish dark metallic root beer. At least that's what it looks like so far, the truck sits in our shop and the gym lights make everything look different. So far, I like it. It has a really deep rich look to it. Here is one piece installed with flood lights shining on it. The picture makes it look more brown than it really is.

satin finish was a good move. flat finish would have scuffed like crazy. gloss would be the most scuff resistant but would show scratches, especially non-clear coated rattle can. looks good man.
