for $200 they are using a solvent based product. an asphalt based product like what ming uses will run substantially more. the product he is using is more than likely an autobutler type system which is sprayed out of a can that hooks into an air hose. its not a terrible product, but its not even similar to true undercoating.

Yea you may need to find out what material he's using. He'll be like "wtf I wasn't expecting that question".

My local line x didn't want to do my wheel wells said it was to hard. Called another line x place they told me it wasn't worth it and.they.don't do.it. called a third and.they.said yes. They recommend a cheaper rubber type material. So it sounds like to me these places don't know what they are talking about.

So is the solvent based no good? I'm going to called him back and see what they use.

Undercoated my rear wheel wells a year and a half ago and it's held up perfectly. I used 3M.
