Back out on a main road after a gravel road and I thought I was driving a tin can!!! Rocks flying off the tires made the Rap sound down right tinny :emotions122::emotions122: THAT, I did not like. Today I was looking under it and there's no rubber/plastic in the wheel wells to stop it.

Next option is a good undercoat. I'm going to look for some spray on coating like I've used in the past. Anyone have another option??????

Second question: I'm looking for some small decals with Raptor SVT to put either under the 6.2 on the door or at the top rear of the rear fenders. I'm not a fan of the large factory decals, but I would like small subtle ones. Any supplier making such things??

it's going to be tough to find a vendor who openly advertises that they sell anything bearing the Raptor SVT trademark because Ford tends to track those individuals down.

Thanks, yes, I can see how that might be a problem!! There's a sign shop near here that might make me a couple one offs. I'll be by that way in a week or two and I'll check.

I found some reference to "lineX"?? I live in a VERY rural area and there's no such shops anywhere near here. Is there any kind of bolt on "liner" that is do-it-your-self ??

If not, it sure sounds like a business oportunity for someone!!

End result....

I bought 4 large cans of spray on undercoating and it went on well and did a good job. (messy back splash.... be warned.... protect yourself and the floor)

Side note: After buying this, they got in a new version of "liquid rubber" undercoat. I would have used that if they'd had it.

I also picked up flaps to help reduce flying rocks and protect the side paint. Proven Design Raptor flaps.

And lastly a couple subtle side decals, "unknown manuf".

What spray did you use? I'm currently debating between some herculiner for the bed and underside or a nice bedrug since I know I'm getting a Bakflip.

Are your rims painted, powder coated, or plastidip?

Stormtrooper ftw!

I got the undercoat spray at NAPA. Rims are stock factory finish. I did put a DeeZee mat in the bed. I prefer it to a spray on. It'll clean up with tire cleaner and look like new for years. I never liked the rough spray in finish as once it's dirty, it looks dirty and it is hard to clean.
