Not sure what the point of it is however under the truck bed just next to rear shocks I noticed a black pad maybe 1/4 inch thick that stretches across truck bed (underside) seems to be falling off. Glue-tape it back on? Cut it off? Any body have this issue? tried to take pic but its dark and they didnt come out good. On 2017 SCREW

You can also reattach with the 3M Hi-Strength 90 Contact Adhesive Spray. Spray both sides where you want it to stick and wait about 3 mins and reapply. I use this stuff all the time on various projects and it works great.
Good luck

this square piece fell off of mine first week i had it. thought it was something i picked up off the road so i tossed it. what purpose does it serve and do i really need it? it appeared to be just a cheap thin piece of insulation ?
