So how does the plastidip hold up to cleaning and such?

What if there was some dried bird crap on it? Can I scrub it off?

Brake dust on the wheels? Does it hose off? Simple green?

What luck have you guys had cleaning the areas that you have plastidipped?

That was my main concern with it on my grille. So many bugs will be splattered on it. So we shall see how it holds up. I've emailed dipyourcar customer service with that question and am awaiting a reply.

I know I probably didn't apply mine right or something, but I wouldn't hit it up close with a pressure washer. It might hold up, but it might not.

So far the Ford wart (emblem) has held up great, the skid plate has held up except for Brandi scuff marks. No peeling or discoloration yet..

Thanks Jarrett, that's what o thought too about the grill. I might do this to the spare set of rims that I bought.

Ok,dudes .. Ordering my plasti dip from dip your car.com. How many do you think I need to coat all of the truck below the belt line( below the windows and bed rail? what about the prespray they sell, any good?

When I drive up in the woods truck gets dirty, then get on a narrow trail and drag alders down the sides always scratched the crap out of my old truck. Want to keep the Raptor lookin good!

Might be 3-4 gallons depends on how many coats you put on? I ordered 5 gallons for my truck. I will do it this labor day weekend.

My Civic Mugen used 3 gallons.
