Its the same as the others. Something to do with the actual gasket. Apparently they use some sort of liquid gasket maker and once you drop the pan to redo the gasket you have to replace the pan as well.

Well just hit 10,700 miles and just developed the slow oil seeping leak thru the oil pan seal!! Next week I am going in for the oil pan replacement!!cb98e635f546a184e4c4ebb4f3a8186f.jpg

Was there any heat resistant material around your pan? I was surprised to find it surrounding most of my pan so I wonder if this problem is heat related in some way.rap1.jpg

Quite a nice loaner! Looks to be at least a Lariat Ultimate with LED lighting and keyless start.

When I took my $75k dually in for a recall and power mirror replacement, I received a 4 year old SuperCab F-150 in STX trim.
