Does anyone have any first hand knowledge on installing UCA's and a Slot delete kit? I have the tools and mechanical ability, I've just never done this particular job before. I've done mid perch, and installed new front shocks and coils if that says anything, but i'm a little nervous about things that really affect the trucks alignment and could potentially make it un-drivable. Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but if i only take one LCA bolt out at a time and replace it with the slot delete, the LCA location shouldn't change, right? If i adjust the new UCA's to be the same length as stock or just adjust them so the tires look straight, i should be good enough to drive it to the alignment shop and have it done professionally? Am i missing anything? has anyone done this and how did it go?
Also, what do you guys recommend for UCA's? I'm looking for aluminum and most likely going with RPG or ICON. Is there any benifit to ICON's delta joint Vs a normal uniball?
thanks in advance
