Yeah when people special order we haven't been doing an ADM. It's just our retail units that we mark up right now. That's how we got so many bronco orders... we promised no ADM if you order

I am just finding it hard to believe that you would even TAKE customer orders when you're expecting to charge people 30k ADM this whole time. Where are you getting the difference in extra money from? 20% interest rates?

"Supply and demand" aside I mean if we look at total man hours for a customer order.. maybe 1-2 on the computer to enter it and check status sometimes? There's delivery and PDI so a few more man hours there.. I'll be generous and say 6 hours total so their getting paid $5,000 an hour for their time.

PDI is already gonna be billed to customer and its the Tech doing that not even the sales monkey... but yeah I would give them approx 6 hours total from sit down order to end of sale.... maybe worth the approx 5k$ total from an msrp sale (not even including the holdback and other monies they get from Ford)... not 5k$ an hr though

this is exactly the kind of crap some dealers are doing with the trx i have heard. you cannot justify this in anyway. but i know what he will say well the adm pay for the employees at the dealership because there are cars to sell

Not only are they making money on sticker, but they also get the holdback and all the other money the manufacturer gives them. Really tired of hearing how sticker is a deal
