No, BCM reprogramming can not be performed by a SCT X4. Shit, I wish it were that simple. Reprogramming has to be done by either the dealer or someone with an Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) tool specifically for accessing the BCM. I've read that the IDS costs around 2K to purchase.

I had a hyperflash issue with my retrofit headlights shortly after installing them. At first the front turn signals wouldn't blink and would cause a hyperflash on the dash. Eventually front and rear turn signals stopped working and the hyperflash remained on the dash. Extremely annoying! Luckily a friend of mine has an IDS tool. He hooked it up to the OBD port, opened the program, and saw that the BCM was indicating a short in the front turn signals. He cleared the indication and turn signals worked normally again. While he was hooked up he turned the hyperflash option off in the BCM. Everything has worked perfectly since.

Also worked on my 2011. Now if I can just get my front turn signals working again.....

What happen to your front turn signals?

What had happened was....

The BCM has cut off the turn signals circuit as a safety measure due to it detecting a short to ground. But what really happened is all the additional lights i have added to my turn signal circuit has increased the current draw on that circuit and the BCM believes its a short.
Similar to the hyperflash, I assume the BCM has a particular range suited for normal operation. When you drop below the low threshold, the hyperflash occurs. When you exceed the upper threshold it will kill the circuit until you reset the BCM.
I have reset it a few times while figuring this issue out and it will not reset anymore. So next up will be to swap in a different BCM and program it see if it works.
I measured some current on the lights installed and have come to find out I have added a little over 2 amps per side when using the turn signal. Even more for the white at 2.5 amps per side but they run on a different circuit and have no problems.
I believe I have fixed the issue by running the white lights power wire to its own fuse off the ignition and when the turn signals activate it should only draw power from the white lights power source not the turn signals circuit.
I will know for sure when I can get another BCM.

I just got back from the dealer. They charged me $140 to reconfigure the BCM.
I still have the HyperFlash.
I have VLED front turn signals and VLED rear brakelight/turn signals

No luck......I still have the daym hyperflash
