I called him with a handful of random questions. Super knowledgeable guy and he answered all my questions plus some. The level of customer service he provides is a rare thing to find. I will definitely have him tune my truck in the very near future.

Hey everyone. My old truck was a 2016 f150 with the coyote. Had it tuned from MPT on e85. Had the tune for over 80k miles and never an issue. Now own a 2020 Raptor, and thinking of another MPT for the Raptor. Anyone else run an MPT on their Raptor ? or what other company have people had for a tune that was really good. And is the difference worth the price ? Thanks !
I have a 2019 Raptor and my brother has a 2017 Raptor. We both have the MPT tune PR-X and LOVE it!! I honestly can't see why bother buying a Raptor R when this tune is available. I also have a CORSA Performance exhaust along with the aFe cold intake. Sounds amazing and shifts very smooth. No clunks on the downshifts and very crisp upshifts.

@GooseTuned I am really wanting to pull the trigger on a tune but I have a few questions! I drove a buddies who had your tune and that thing is so fun to drive.

But for me the truck has 76k on it. She has been very well maintained with no complications. Is 76k too late for a tune? Transparently, I want the truck to last a long time (almost paid off!). If I didn't want to do the PCM tune, can I just do the TCM tune to get it to shift a little cleaner? Or is that dumb?

If I am off here on my thinking please let me know. I read that you want to do the spark plugs every 15k if you do your tune, right?

Thank you :)

Crazy how many people recommend goosetuned. Winfield really does do some good work.
I recommend him & didn’t even use his tune (I already had a tuner/tune from Gearhead in my 2018 that I had “swapped” over to my 2020 for relatively short $$$ or I’d have gone the goosetune route didn’t want to have to splurge on a new device) simply b/c I’ve followed his work on YouTube & this forum & I’ve had alot of experience over the years modifying vehicles & dealing w/ performance shops & can tell that Winfield does solid work & is reputable & really cares about delivering on his claims.

Idk if anyone has had Winfield tune and went goodedtuned and like tune better and that's why possibly? I know if I have something that others offer and its been amazing im going to recommend it for sure, I do a ton of research on a lot of things before I'll buy. 1 because I dont like to spend money on myself, 2 I want to make a good choice also. My gen 2 I just bought....researched....got oasis report, carfax and unfortunately didn't do me any good lol, but hey I did get an extended warranty and its being paid for.

You should run his E85 tune on that fresh motor you are getting.

I cant find 85 around here but 93 is plentiful lol, I won't tune it for a bit for sure, dont want a warranty issue with ford or the warranty company, but I really do want the tune , inter cooler and transmission all done, im sure ill have a break in period on the new motor also.
