TSB 11-1-5 Canister Purge Valve

I have a 2013, no ticking but it takes 3- 5 seconds to start every time I fill up. Also get a check engine light soon after a fill up (usually but not every time). Can't remember the code but it translates to "very small vacuum or emission leak). Guess I'll try changing this out when I get back home and see if it fixes it.

Just snapped these at work. I believe it's 2x 8mm bolts you remove and disconnect the plug. Pop the new one back in the hole, bolt up, and plug in the wire.. good to go.

Thanks for the post! I just had my truck with 75k miles get a P0445 code and just replace the purge canister and the codes gone!

other than the price they seem to be the same parts unless one is the more up to date version?

I put a dorman 9U5Z9C915BE in my truck around May 2016. Haven’t had and issues with it if that helps. Bought it on Amazon. And Amazon says the CX2409 doesn’t fit our trucks.

Interesting as I just went to Amazon to check and when I put 2013 Ford Raptor 6.2L I get 9U5Z9C915BE does not fit your vehicle but CX2409 does. Pretty sure I did this before leading me to post my prior question. So confused on what in the hell is going on and what part is the correct one now.

Rechecking my purchase i put on a dorman 911-283 and it was identical to the one I pulled off. If that helps
