I like the fact that I can play in 2 wheel drive in my R - just the TRX being whatever it is, 4WD or all wheel drive rules it out for me - I have an R8 all wheel drive and I'm taking the front diff out to convert it to 2 wheel drive

Idk if this is the place or not but what are the odds the 6 cylinders go away in the rho and v6 raptor trucks in lieu of new V8’s. I know the rho is newish but the v6 raptor has been about a while. I guess I’m wondering if 550 to 600 hp + might be the standard hp rating since the epa has removed some restrictions on truck mileage. I realize it’s unknown as to what the future holds in the industry but insiders might have some thoughts.

It’s probably safe to say however any new Trx will have a huge hp number I’m excited to see it what else they might do.

I had one, it was a great truck, but I hate screws, so I sold it. If they made a scab this time around, I'd buy one.

I had a 2016 Challenger Hellcat narrow body with the pedestrian 707hp and one of the reasons I got rid of it was you couldn’t safely put the power to the ground from a dig. After 10,000 miles I decided it was fun in a straight line, but mostly after you hit 60mph (in Track mode it would still chirp the tires at 60mph).

I have a hunch the R is the same, trying to get the power down in 2wd has to be a bit of a challenge. That’s one of the reasons I like the TRX. It’s a point and shoot kind of setup. Anybody can safely drive the TRX.

I don’t think the EcoPoop or the Hurricane go away. Not everybody wants to pay for the high powered V8 and the cost of gas. One of the things I miss about the 2020 Raptor was the 500 mile range on highway trips.
