I like my undercover swingcase. You can double them up if you have a lot of gear (obviously not nearly as big as a true over rail traditional box) - I’ve used in multiple trucks but in order to have them really secured i swap some of the self tapping screws and/or the locking washers ones for some stainless bolts w/ washers/nuts secured on the inside of the bed going up through fender or through tail light. They won’t go anywhere mounted like that & can hold more weight than intended.

It’s nice that they’re fully removable

Any worries about those metal parts rusting?

I tried calling Smittybuilt and they never pick up the phone. I would guess it is made of material that resist corrosion but would like to confirm it with them first.

just a follow up I got the smittybilt adventure box for $230 on craigslist brand new I'm box. haven't bolted it down yet still deciding on it. 4 holes one on each corner to secure it which I would think would hold it in place??
