What is the maintenance interval on uniballs? I was under the impression that they would last longer than ball joints.

Mine had about 30k miles on them of which 3-4k was Offroad. I don't think there in an official interval but there was some play in the passenger side joint so I am replacing both.

Got the control arms out. Now I need to find a shop to press out the old uniballs. Here is a comparison to the stockers.

Turns out the sleeve that fits inside the spindle broke off flush with the spindle due to lack of anti size on my part. Reminder. Anti Seize metal on metal. I think I am going to modify the new one to fit with the old one versus trying to get it out.

I say give up on it and go LT! :)

With the way that these front end costs are going it may be cheaper. I bought the RPG steering arms, thinking about moving to the top perch which means I need to buy alignment cams, new uniballs, new bolts, new spacers and sleeves...

What's everyone's opinion on top perch vs mid. I am assuming that I need the alignment cams to make it work?

im taking mine to the top and i've read a few guys that have said they didnt have any problem with the alignment afterwards they all said it aligned just fine so im not sure if you need them. im not getting any unless the alignment doesn't line up

Everything is back together, RPG steering rods, new uniballs, new hardware. The truck handles awesome.

Also major props to the guys at RPG. Corey called to make sure that everything arrived ok, and called again to help me with the install. Great customer service.

I have the stage 2 in my possession. Deavers are still being built (custom spring rate +2s) should have it all installed by mid march.

Added a new dust light last night setup last night

I also added a quick release fire extinguisher mount with halotron extinguisher.

**Edit**. This mounting location sucked, and the self tappers backed out within a day. I remounted to my coretrax tiedown rail using the mounting studs.
