Good to meet you too. Thanks for taking care of the logistics situation that you, Trey and I are trying to work out. I should have had you listen to this weird popping sound coming from my truck as well as my power steering (pretty sure the pump is toast).

Anyways...see you later this summer. Maybe we can get some trails for a day or so.

See ya soon.

No problem man. Maybe I'll have time to look at it when you come down. It was a busy day today for power steering hang ups haha

Finally home. Big shout out to Trey, Phyguy and Pirate! Awesome trip and simply some of the most beautiful scenery around! Really glad to have met a few more forum members and looking forward to the next adventure.

Nice truck, man. Good to see you again. Let's get our significant others friendly so we can take off and go do manly stuff (not the gay stuff).

Maddy and I just made it in after getting stopped by a friendly young cop for 55 in 45 in front of casino in Dolores, Co. Nice guy. Young and wanted to know more about the truck and must have been bored cause we set there and talked for 45 minutes. He never did ask me my name. I thought it was funny. Never gave me a ticket. Then I got to the I-40 where I had the most intense lightning show as I drove West. Big time rain. Had to use 4x4 just to stop the hydroplaning. Very intense from 20 miles west of Gallup all the way to Holbrook approx. 65 miles. Then dry the rest of the way home.
Thanks to the HID's I got to cover ground pretty quick with 1/4 mile road visibility.
Had a great time and it's always good to meet new people.
I'll be getting pictures up tomorrow. I have a lot of good ones from being in the back.
Thanks Trey and others that helped put on this great Raptor Run.

The trip was just amazing! Thanks Trey for putting this together, and Phyguy and Pirate for their trail support. Pictures do not do this trip justice - you just had to be there to really experience the landscape and the thrill of the ride!

I live in Colorado and have done a number of passes, so I know the state is very scenic; however, I had no idea what Colorado really had to offer until this trip.

Great meeting every one of you on this trip! New and previous FRF members! What a great bunch of people and a great adventure.

This is what I learned/experienced (top ten):

1) Trail etiquette
2) Team work
3) Trail driving skills
4) More about the capability of my Raptor
5) Tamed my fear of heights
6) Everyone on the trail (our group or not) gets help if needed
7) Jeeps are overrated
8) My children are the best copilots I could ask for
9) Trey is a master of leading/helping the group! He has mad skills and his confidence is contagious.
10) Raptors are beast!

Thanks to everyone for helping me with the power steering issue!!

I have lots of pics to post... soon.

P.S. If you are ever in Lake City, CO, they have the best "chicken sammich" at the Packer Saloon and Cannibal Grill
