Hello Everyone, I'm a long time fan of this site and the contributors. I am reaching out for the latest advice on getting a transmission replaced. I have 10k miles remaining on the warranty (90k miles on the truck), and I can't get an appointment for two months - I have time to prepare and/or find a replacement transmission. Also curious what the dealership might attempt towards voiding my warranty. The truck is mostly stock except for an IC upgrade to make room for a winch. I have Forscan and the truck has an assortment of codes as you would expect after 90k miles.
Should I be trying to locate my own replacement transmission for when Ford says they don't have one?
I would be happy to send updates for this process for those going through this in the future.
