Well, maybe it's my turn now. Tonite the transmission couldn't seem to decide what gear to be in. Speedo was bouncing around, occasional knock like it's shifting badly. Some times didn't shift into 1st after coming to a stop, stayed in 2nd until started to move again. No idiot lights though. Tried M, got no indication of the gears and didn't seem to change anything. I think it was starting this for the past few days, but nothing i could really point out, until tonite.

I'm thinking of taking it into the dealer tomorrow before I find myself stranded...

Hi cups,

It sounds like you're going to try a few things first, but let me know if you decide to get your local dealership involved; I'm always glad to do what I can to help. What's the current mileage on your Raptor?

Crystal

Well the first round went OK. Air filter looks clear. Drove around a couple blocks nice and easy. Just a couple of unexpected shifts, but I wouldn't have noticed if I was watching.
So now I'll take her out and get her all warmed up. Wilson, can you help me her S spot?

OK. That didn't work. After driving around awhile it started again. The only difference was I could select M and shift myself. That didn't stop it but it seems less erratic.

So I made appt at Future Ford here in Sacramento for next week. I have to work this weekend. Hope it doesnt die on me.
