Traffic display on NAV

I'm embarrassed to ask but......the standard NAV display in my 2011 shows highway traffic in bluish, yellow, or reddish (I think...not much congestion on the roads I travel), which I assume indicates flow of traffic on those roads. Is that (i.e., the color indicators) a function of the Sync system, or is it Sirius Traffic that's responsible for the traffic flow indicators on the NAV. It's a useful feature and my 6 month Sirius subscription will be over shortly...and I don't want to renew the Traffic feature if Sync does it already (although the Siruis Traffic doesn't look all that expensive).

I renewed the sirius/radio and then had to renew the Sync for traffic,weather and nav etc.

How much is sync to renew. Is it the same as sirius or close

You shouldn't have to renew sync. Thats just the system ford runs the whole media center off of. Sirius is the one who supplies the weather, movie listings, game scores, and traffic.

I think I pay about $40-50/year for the traffic and travel link stuff. I let the radio subscription cancel out, didn't care for it enough.

Yes you are right thought about it and it was Sirius for about $78.00

My parents got me the 3 year program with everything for my birthday. Plus I use the weather map and forecast a lot. Plus the movie listings is pretty nice for the last minute decision with friends
