Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a great day/week.

How much do you think 21,250 Miles on a raptor is worth?

The reason I ask is is I have two options to choose from on purchasing my first ford raptor!!

trading in my 2020 lariat special edition

1) 2017, ruby red screw 802A with beadlock wheels, 45,626 Miles or 73000 km here in Canada.

this truck costs 8000$ more, but I get 34000 km or 21000 miles less and some powertrain warranty.

New end lien: 79800$ so off the hop it’d 12,500$ more expensive however it has 5500$ in upgrades I like so in reality to me it’s only about 8000 more. They include: A levelling kit, 3000$ tires and rims ( method wheels with general grabber 35” tires ), raptor decals which save me 600$, a blow off valve which saves me 500$ and a 300$ tonneau cover.

2) 2018 , magnetic grey 66825 miles or 107000 Canadian km. 802A package.

This truck is by far cheaper! But no warranty.

This truck off the bat end lien wise is 67300$ here in Canada after trade in. But no upgrades worth 5k and 0 warranty.

I’m new to depreciation trends etc. So I thought I’d ask the experts. My plan is to trade the truck in next year for a newer 2019 with recaro seats. Normally I’d wait however my 2020 lariat is going to depreciate a whole lot more over the year or two of ownership and I am getting an incredible trade in offer that only leaves me with 2k negative equity!!

Thank you in advance!

Look into a ford esp warranty. Id buy whichever one gets you a better deal and get a warranty but to me that red one looks like it was put up wet. Not sure why

the red one needed 2800 of work to get it fit for sale, and has a cracked sunroof that is needing replacement ( they told me to get insurance to do so ) , I’m guessing this one was used like a raptor.

The grey one is 8000$ cheaper after taking upgrades into consideration. So I’m wondering what your thoughts are on the mileage difference and if it’s worth the 8000?

The aftermarket parts shouldn't be a factor in the pricing. Don't try and convince yourself your saving money by paying a premium on something that has some wheels and tires on it.

The wheels aren't beadlocks.
What kind of leveling kit?

Also, The magnetic colored Raptor photos are of 2 different trucks.

So....I would pass on both.

Grey for sure. The red one doesn't look right.

Not sure how Canadian insurance works, but in the US, insurance is not going to pay for damage that exists prior to you purchasing insurance.
