Trade gen 2 for gen 1??

Those engines have different blocks, cranks, rods, pistons, heads, valves, turbos. This is common knowledge you tool. Members here have even tried to buy some of these parts from Ford to no avail.

Must be opposite day. The Ford GT engine shares virtually no parts with the Raptor and the reason no one is making big numbers with a Gen 2 is the bottom end isn't strong enough. Facts.

I have personally seen several of the engines, friend. People tend not to post about this stuff. Or if they do, the posts get taken down. No one really wants anyone else to know about their failures. Non disclosure agreements are often part of the negotiated outcomes on the repairs. Etc.

Bottom line. No one is making any real power with a Gen 2 ecoboost without building the bottom end. No one.
