TPMS Gen 2 and Gen 3 are they compatible?

i have had Method NVs on both my 2014 Gen 1 and my Gen 2-same wheels that I had the dealer put on my new truck only to find out the TPMS was not compatible. Any idea is the Gen 2 TPMS will work on a Gen 3? I am thinking about trading in my Gen 2 for a 2021 Gen 3 this week and would like to keep my Method NVs and current tires as part of the deal.

Yes! I put on my Venom-Rex 602's from my Gen2 the day after I picked up my Gen3. The TPMS on those wheels I purchased from Ford. Worked on my Gen3.
