My mud grapplers were on stock wheels with the 35s. Same size as the Toyos and zero issues of rubbing even when jumping.

Dont know exactly what you mean but they are staggered lugs and kind of cut back. The upper control arm for my muds grapplers if they were going to hit would hit the side lug not the upper edge.

thats what i meant were the lugs of tread on the sidewall area... the toyos have the same design... i was told you were on top perch so i believe that would pull the UCA away from the tire just a little but im on mid perch so i think i should be fine right? reason im being so picky is i need to put the toyos on so i can sell my oem tires... but at the same time these will only be on oem wheels for a month or two tops until my method nv's arrive... but thanks for the help and advice i really appreciate it

I've been on all settings but middle.

First got the tires as the first thing done to the truck at stock setting (1-2K miles). Then put a truxxx kit on (22K~) and after Big J's write up took them out and put it to the top setting (3-4K). TRR was on top perch with no issues. Jumped the truck on both Truxxx and stock and know for sure didn't rub with Truxxx and can't remember about stock but didn't have any issues. Now I have had mud grapplers on stock wheels of a 97 4runner and they did rub the top perch. Right now I see no signs of rubbing on the upper control arm of the raptor.... I just stepped out side to see.

Tomorrow I'm putting my stock wheels and mud grapplers on tomorrow so I'll take pics of both the methods and stock wheels if that helps. It will be on top perch FYI.

Oh you have to remember too... I'm running a bumper thats 75-80 lbs so it pulls the front down a little. If i were you I wouldn't have any issue at all running toyo M/Ts on stock wheel on mid perch.

Also i think don't quote me but I know the lugs on the side of the mud grapplers are a 15mm which is HUGE. I don't think the toyos are that big.
