i know theres threads out here and ive looked but im extra cautious especially after spending so much money on tires... i got 35x12.5x17 toyo open country M/t's and noticed that our BF goodrich oem tires are awfully close to the upper control arm in the front already... with the toyos being larger and wider with the sidewall tread will this rub? i dont want to get these installed and then have my front two tires ripped open pulling out of the parking lot. these will be going on oem svt 2010 wheels for now then transfered at a later date once my method nv's arrive. please help me put my mind at ease.:emotions34:

You'll be perfectly fine. You might rub the tread at full turn on the fender liner. Just due to the thicker more aggressive tread. It won't rub on mid or top perch, but bottom it might.

Blue he wants to run the Toyos on stock wheels. You have the 0mm offset Methods and on mid-perch right? That combo will provide a lot more clearance than the factory wheels.

This is Big Blue right?

the stock tire is 12.4 wide

the toyo is 13.2 wide

so as a ROUGH esitmate depending on rim width and PSI the Toyo will be about .8" wider so it will stick out (and in) .4". Do you have .4" clearance between stock tire and UCA?

^^Birdman is correct.

Sorry OP, I missed your comment about OEM wheels. My M/Ts are mounted on Methods and they do have a different offset (0) that brings the wheel out a bit versus stock. If your on stock perch and want to be 1000% certain, just wait till you get your Methods.
