Toyo M/T 315/70r18

Looking to get new ***** dropping wheel setup, need some assistance! Im NOT wanting to get new fenders. Im on mid-perch.

Been seeing these 36"x13" M/Ts pop up more and more and they look pretty effing good. what I can't figure out is what offset is needed to run them?

Im a fan of that wide stance and was HOPING a 0 or +1mm offset would do the trick (as seen on the Fuel Trophy/Anza 18x9) BUT I'm having doubts!

would a 35X12.5R18 nitto M/T (13.39" wide) look more proper?

or would the +20mm be needed?

I'm running the 315/70r18 toyos at 0 offset on method mesh wheels. I absolutely love the set-up. On top perch especially since it fills up more of the wheel wells without having to buy 37's. Here is a pic

Im running 315/70/18 on Method NVs with -18mm offset. The stance is wide but not overly aggressive and on full compression the wheels tuck into the wells pretty well. I haven't had any rubbing issues as of yet.

Method only makes their 18x9 6x135 at a +18 unless you're running spacers.

im not sure anymore

been reading some stuff about toyo selling out and using a different rubber compound resulting in FAR less miles versus the previous.

these 36's are 13" wide, yet look thinner than the stock tires which are 12.7"

I'm thinking 315/65/r18 cooper discoverers are my next tire. 13.5" wide and 34.76" tall


now should I get +1 or +20 lol. my current -4 stock wheel offset looks great, but any wider would look stupid.

so if I go to a +1, I would be losing 5mm but gaining .8" of tire width, half of which would be .4" which equals 10mm... so my stance would really be going out 5mm, and 15mm would be added to the inside

and if i go +20, the difference would be 24mm from my current -4, but after adding tire width, it would really be only 14mm narrower...

I hate the way my decision making works
