If I'm towing I'm hitting the moose or any other critter that gets in my way. lol
The point of avoiding the moose (and hence the test) is moose are tall enough that if you hit one, it can end up going onto the hood, then through the windshield and into your face.

Don't hit moose.

@OEMPlus Raptor What WDH are you using?

I'm planning on getting a 23' TT, Dry weight is ~4750lbs but I'll likely tow it at about ~5400lbs. Me, wife and dog, no gear in the truck I should be under the payload.

But now I'm on the fence with the WDH. Looking at Anderson, BW Continuum, Track Pro Weight Distribution Hitch.

I use a Fastway e2 with the trunnion bar and shank and it works great. I have roughly the same length/weight TT and I towed it about 2,500 miles all up and down the Appalachian mountains this year with no problems.

Be careful which WD hitch you go with as some you can't back up with the WD still attached.
