Top Tier Gas or 100% gas?

I get much better mileage without the Ethanol. I would much rather have that. Ethanol has a higher Octane rating so they can mix it with cheaper gas to bump the octane up the to the amounts listed on the pump. Rather have the Octane with 100% gas.

The next question would be, if there was on 89 oct avail in 100% how do the octane boosters that you can buy work? could you get some boost the octane so I can run the 93 perf tune?

As best I can remember the 89 octane ethanol-free gas was about 20 cents more per gallon than 93 octane <10% ethanol.

But because it's a greater BTU value fuel it might be close to the same cost as 10% ethanol per gallon (miles per dollar).
