well I will post the 3 things I'm most excited for checking out when I get mine, and I'll go back and quote this and update it once I do get it if I was right or if something else surprised me.
1.) Gizmos and Gadgets: I'm an engineer so I'm always a sucker for gizmos and gadgets, and the productivity screen and front/rear cameras and navigation and dual zone climate and all that jazz has me pretty excited. I've only ever owned trucks with analog controls, not even digital controls, so I'm pretty excited to play with all the stuff
2.) Ride: After DD-'ing my '85 F-150 again the past few months, that 27 year old suspension isn't uncomfortable, but it's not a relaxing comfortable ride either. And prior to that my DD were my two HD trucks. Both lowered, low profile tires, always gotta watch out for potholes and steep driveways. I can't wait to take the Raptor on an hour + drive and see how it feels on the highway, then just around town not having to worry with such a tall tire, high stance, and long suspension travel compared to my past trucks.
3.) Zippyness: This one I'm more concerned about than excited. It's going to take a lot to impress me in this department coming from three previous supercharged 5.4 trucks. I'm not expecting it to hold a candle to my 700 rwhp HD truck, but compared to my second 00 HD street truck I had. I hope it's comparable around town to how that truck felt. That truck made 372/450 on the dyno and ran 13.5 in the 1/4. I know the Raptor is slower, but as long as it's faster than when my second 00 HD was N/A and making 220 rwhp and running 16.2's I'll be happy lol. Which is should. I'm just curious how it will feel once I'm behind the wheel for myself.
