Too late to order?

Hey guys, new here. Do you think it’s too late to order a ‘22 (35 or 37 package?)

Apparently my dealership still has an allocation but I’m thinking I should maybe wait until 2023 orders open

Sooner the better, but wouldn’t count on getting a 22. Ford honored existing prices on orders before December 27 (before the base price and destination increase). At least get something submitted before they increase again.

Might as well order. Going to take at least 6 months. Should give you plenty of time to make your mind up. Worst case scenario, order it, and when the time comes if you don’t want it, tell the dealer you’ve moved on. Dealer won’t care, they’ll have no issue moving it.

I ordered 2 weeks ago. I knew it was gonna be a waiting game regardless. Figured I might as well get the order in now and start waiting than place an order later this year and then have to wait.

Doesn't matter, when you do order, now or a year from now, it will likely still take 6mos to a year to get your truck.
It will be like that until both chip plants are built and running in the US (takes 5 years to build and deploy) and other supply issues are resolved, which is TBD.

I ordered one Saturday hoping if nothing else to get into the queue and hopefully if it goes into next year, it will get converted over to a 2023. I am hoping to get it this year though.
