Today is a good day

My truck gets built today (http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/WindowSticker.aspx?vin=1FTFW1R62CFA44783) and tomorrow is my last day of chemo & radiation!

I have to admit I had started to lose faith. I hadn't seen a Raptor up close and personal since my order on 09/04 and the 2012 Rubicon Unlimited's were looking nicer and nicer. So much so, I took one for a test drive. Man, those are nice Jeeps. Fortunately there was a Ford dealer nearby with a Silver '11 on the show room floor (just like mine only...older and with a $5K dealer markup. Doh!). One look and I was sold all over again.

Hopefully everything goes to plan and I'll be tooling around in my new beast in a couple weeks (ETA is 01/09)!

Thanks all for the well wishes.

I still have a pretty hefty surgery looming before me, but we appear to have caught things before it spread. So, while the surgery will suck and the changes will take some getting used to, I should come out of it disease free and have many years of getting my Raptor into new and interesting places.
