so been looking around and some reviews of different tires (this place i liked a bit Nitto Dune Grappler Reviews), and got me thinking..... well my main use will be daily driving on street, but do have my dad and sister's with farmland to go play in dirt and mud, and winters can get really snowy in this part of the country....

so being that 75% of my driving (if not more) will be street and snow.... should i just stick with the BFG's? i have the same BFG A/T's on my current truck (but 31") that work very well street and snow, ok in mud but not great. couldnt find anything about Red Letters in mud and snow.... the Nitto Dunes i really like the look but i guess they suck on snow and mud....

any suggestions from you fine folks?

I was going to get a second set of rims and tires for summer driving while also keeping the originals for winter.

i thought about that, esspecially since the rims i do like, to get the +offset id have to get 18" rims, the 17" only have -offset, so i would have to get new tires....... some of the M/T's look good and are better rated for mud and street and ok for snow, but were usually lil more then i wanted to spend...

but still no build date (going on 7 weeks now since order......) so i got plenty of time to decide.

Get BFG KM2's. For being pretty chunky, they actually look really good on the truck. I've seen them in person and they perform really well in the dirt.

I think the stock tires are perfect for street and just enough A/T tread to handle good in the mud and great for snow myself. IMO.

I had Goodyear MT/R tires on my Bronco. They were excellent in mud, but loud on the street once they started to wear. I think the uneven wear was from the TTB front end though. However, they are rugged tires cuz aside from mud, I had some trail driving where even I ripped almost a 1/4" deep chunk out, used tube glue for dirt bike inner tube repairs to fix it. Held up w/o ever leaking. Had a nail in another. Barely lost air until I had it replaced. I even see em used a lot on our HMMWVs instead of the military version of the same tire. I want em for my Raptor. Just wanna do my homework when it comes to weight and such before I get em again
