i can do that install for you. i would need to know what type of antenna you are planning on using though

that is the part he would need. and he is selling it cheaper than the group buy price. you should definitely jump on it

PM me on an install price for the navtv please...I may haveta buy it at that price...then you're gonna haveta come to TEXAS...!!

I have no idea what I want/need/can afford on a radio & ant. rig...so I need guidance on that one...

i charge a flat rate of $100 for the nav tv install. so its $100 plus plane ticket for you. hahahaha

as far as the radio, the icom f5021 is the popular choice for most. regarding the antenna, it depends if you want a magnetic base antenna that you can remove, or a permanently fixed base that gets drilled into the roof or bedrail. antenna choice plays a key in the installation time

the moment a sound processor and an amp get installed the sound quality goes up exponentially. and then you can finally ditch that crappy oem woofer. also, think about the 2A upgrade as an alternative. you get the upgraded pioneer woofer (there are 3 different lines of the shallow pioneer woofer), upgraded amp, and a component speaker setup for the front sound stage

Ok. Which begs the questions:
Labor to install?
Time needed to install?

Track time is very important to me.... but we all know you are a night owl, so maybe some of this can be done later after the track closes?

Trey, is the MGI guys have gonna have a dump station for us travel trailer/RV guys? If not, does anybody know the closest one from the track? Sure would be nice to know that before the event, been searching online but have found very limited info on this. How about BBQ pits? BYOP? Thanks.
