lol very funny guys. but seriously it sorta feels like a muffler vibration. but it sounds like the truck revs up a little.

Not trying to be funny at all. Just trying to help get to the bottom of the issue. If it is exhaust related, then I would begin by checking all of the clamps and exhaust hangers for security.

If it is throttle related, do you have or have you recently installed a custom tune? Throttle response is affected sometimes with tunes.

A little more info is needed to help you diagnose your problem as we have never heard of 'blimping'......

Do you have the resonator still in place or is it removed?

I believe it was removed. I bought the truck with Magnaflow side exit exhaust.

I'll get underneath the truck tonight and see what's going on.

I bought the truck used so I'm not sure if it has a tune on it or not. I think it does because it has a good amount of power to it and also has a AFE CAI with exhaust work done

Check the fuse if it happens with cruse on, has to be fuel fluctuation. P.S. That's e-30 96 Octane.

i am running 87. maybe I need to use 91 octane or just use 93 like I did in my Shelby. question, would that hurt anything? if I ran a different octane that a 87?

Depends on what tune you might have installed......

Higher octane in a lower tune won't affect anything, but a lower octane in a higher tune will.

You really should try to find out if there is a tune installed. If you can't find out, I'd take it and have it flashed back to stock. Then get your own tuner and tunes. That way you know what is going on.

It's not throwing any codes, right?

Check fuse 27. It's probably starting to go. Search FRF for this issue.

I just checked the fuse 27 and everything is checking out good. I wanna say it does have a tune because of the high shift point but im not sure.

no codes at this time.

just checked under the truck, there is no resonator there. Just the cats from the headers and then the side exit exhaust

I'd use e-30, I had my fuse done even tho it was fine. I think a lot have this hesitation or rpm dip (Blimp) blip thing. Ask for e-30 at your favorite station.

there was a thread of this before somewhere, but it was not called blimp

its not a "blimp" willllsonnnn lol. it simply want to go faster. think of it like a angry dog. when the dog is running and it gets excited its joults forward a bit but then you have to hold the chain to hold it back? that's how it performs at 60-70mph. just not that bad. its only noticeable because of the exhaust to revs up then goes back down for about 1/2 second.
