Thoughts on buying modified Raptor

First time poster here. I’m looking to get out of my Sierra 1500 and into a Gen 2 Raptor. I was originally going for a 2018-2029 with 40-50k miles and Ford Certified.

I came across this 2019 below with sub 40k but modified. Besides the obvious lift kit and bumpers, it has an aftermarket intercooler and intake. I’m assuming there is more modifications like a tune.

Is it a mistake buying a modded Raptor?

They are not a Ford dealer and claim their extended warranty would cover the powertrain also even with the vehicle being modified.

What are your thoughts?

I looks like a bigger lift block than stock in the back, that’s a horrible way to lift the rear, could be fixed by replacing the blocks with Deaver or Icon spring pack. Maybe there is a leveling spring in the front, pretty common mod. But ultimately if you are not prepared to study this forum diligently to what, why and how that Raptor has been modified and have no mechanical ability, if I were you, I’d look for a bone stock example and start learning from there.

The vehicle is a couple hundred miles away and just trying to get some insight before heading down to take a physical look at it. I have basic mechanical ability but don’t know the ins and outs of the Raptor yet. Soaking in as much as I can over the last week since I decided to look for one.

I’ve done some research on the cam phasers but get conflicting answers. Is it not covered under powertrain warranty or if comes under a recall?
It's complicated. It was covered, but if the software reprogram wasn't done on time, it isn't covered, but I think there was a time limit on that? I'm not up to speed. If mine starts with that shit, it's getting traded in. Between the phasers and the crappy lift, I wouldn't bother pursuing it. Being out of town is the icing on the cake. Be patient and watch for a stock vehicle with proper maintenance and a record of the recall being performed if it's in the date range where phasers are concerned. If you don't want to worry about phasers, just buy a '20.
