I talked to a shop that did a box similar to what I'm asking about and THEY said their box was only .45 ci ...... And it worked fine. I think the specs say at least .80 for the 10 type R.

.45cu.ft is fine for that woofer. .8 is for the ported box. and yes it will fit under the 1/3 section of the rear seat. if you got a local shop to build it for you, then go for it, if not let me know if you want me to build one

i will post pics of what we are working on tonight. we are using a jl8w3 with a 300watt xd amp, but there is definitely room for the 10in alpine there. as far as price goes, i will have to see what mods are necessary to my original mould.

Got my attention, I happen to have a pair of 8w3v2's sitting around that came out of my old Firehawk. Would love to use one of them to replace Sony box.
