So I picked up a Black Friday deal on a u3000 kit and external battery but I was wondering if anyone has run this through an Aux switch. I know the battery will hold it for 24 hours but I'd like the ability to turn it off while in my garage especially in the summer when it's motorcycle season and it may not get driven for days at a time. Still working out how I'm going to run the wires but wanted to post for folk's experience.

Thanks,
Brian

I was just thinking about doing this on my truck. Did you end up wiring through the AUX switch? If so any issues?

I've got mine wired via AUX 3. Works just fine. If you need instructions, there's a good write up here:
