2 months into owning my first raptor and there’s a couple things I can’t find the answers to on the inter webs. Please flame at will.
1. Truck off, why do the rear speakers sound like they are “on” . It sounds like back in the day when changing a cd and the light static hum would come across.

2. Why does it seem the truck gets better gas mileage when you drive it slightly more spiritedly? Does she just like it rough or what?

3. Why is there not a dedicated physical button for the steering wheel heater?

4. Really the only question I have is #1.

they stay till you open the door. Or they time out after a few minutes

It wants to get to 10th gear asap

only from the screen. No button.

there is a separate heated steering wheel button its right next to the ventilated / heated seat button. what year is yours since they eliminated it on 23's. do you actually have the heated steering wheel?

omg. correct. didn't even realize it was the gen 2 section my bad. I remember that had an 18'. and yes it was a pain being in the infotainment screen. I repressed that memory. I don't know what they were thinking with that.

1) do you have an aftermarket amp/speakers/DSP? you may have a ground, signal bleed or amp issue.
2) the stock ‘normal’ drive mode on the Raptor is actually ‘eco’ mode on the peasant F150’s. As previously stated, it’s programmed to get you into 10th gear as soon as possible. I’ve seen this as low as 42mph, or about 1100 rpms. While this is great on the highway, it’s not so great when you’re going 40-45 for example so if you get a little more aggressive with the throttle under certain conditions, economy improves.
3) You can program the heated wheel button to be on the main sync screen with FORSCAN. see the Forscan changes tweak your truck thread.

as for a real heated wheel button, not virtual, as others have pointed out:

Ford giveth and then Ford taketh away. Be careful what you wish for.
