The 801A package is supposed to come with the darker aluminum that contains a map of Detroit etched in it.

Dare I say I actually prefer the lack of tailgate appliqué? I would probably remove the Raptor emblem for a smooth/clean look.

I didn't like the applique on the 2nd gen, but I like it on the third gen!

I just confirmed with my dealer that if I want the CF (which I added as option when ordering in Jan) the build will be delayed and I may not get this year.

Hmm, my truck is getting built with the carbon fiber as we speak. Also ordered in January. How would you dealer know? Do you trust them?

I trust dealer. They gave me option of keeping Carbon Fiber and delaying the build until possibly October or canceling and getting a July build. I chose to cancel. Then on June 2 email saying I am now scheduled for production July 4th.

Have you seen the alternatives in lieu of CF? Don’t compromise what you want just to get the truck built sooner. Surely you could wait another 3 months for a build date. Spite all that, you gotta do you.
