That being said, I would have liked to have seen the processes involved in getting to the fun mode (2H, off-road mode on, traction control off, locker engaged) to be less of a cumbersome process. Really the only part that is inconvenient to me is the traction control hold/blink process.... If you have any warning lights, etc on your dash (such as a TPMS warning light when you air down your tires for romping) the "wait for it to blink" part is even more of a nuisance. It's no deal-breaker by any means, but it could have been better.

I'm with you on that. I have an M5, which is also highly adjustable. You can select how much power the engine makes, throttle sensitivity, damping, shift speed and mode, and stability control intervention thresholds among other things. All of this stuff would be unwieldy as hell to try to set up every time, so the car has the "M" button on the steering wheel that lets you call up a preset combination of settings instantaneously by pressing the button. Pretty simple idea really--too bad Ford didn't follow BMW's lead as it sounds like the Raptor could use it.

fyi...for the key gripers...there's an eBay seller who has a flip key available (similar to the VW/Audi "switchblade" style keys).

Lately.. Mud under the door handles... Is the worst part.

And my dealer. Raptor has been in for repaint 3 times which started because of a factory paint defect...... needing a 4th because of a dealer can't paint defect....

But the paint thing is more of a worst thing about MY Raptor... not Raptors in general.

so... sticking with the Mud under the door handles.. I know other people have to be gettin some handfulls of it.

So... I ordered my 2011 SuperCrew and hope to receive it 1st week-ish of January. What exactly is the disappointment with the headlights?

they're just ******. they throw a wide beam but not very far at all.

Ditto on the headlights - SDHQ makes HIDs that fit into our stock housing that I'll be (depending on pictures from them tomorrow morning) buying & installing.

I think the single most annoying thing about the Raptor is the amount of annoying stuff. Let me explain:

The Raptor is this SVT lovechild, and yet the keys come from the stone-age, there aren't any air conditioned seats available, etc. You would think, as a car company in this day and age, that Ford would have thrown someone onto the SVT whose only job was to sit there and make sure the truck didn't get out the door without the finishing touches a new flagship truck (or almost) should have. I mean come on Ford. I love you guys, but damn.
