Military auto source wasn't the best way to buy the gen 1, wondering if it will work out cheaper for the gen 2

I can try to see at least if it's worth it. We will see. I guess it depends on the vehicle As well.

Usually it's not the best route in general, better than going to a dealer and picking one up off of the lot, but there are dealers that will sell at or just above invoice and make their money on factory holdover without ever have to really keep it on their lot as inventory.

I ordered my 2013, Team Ford in Las Vegas was over priced for their trucks on the lot and they didn't have everything I wanted in it. We will see this year.

Van bortels in jersey would sell at inventory and were good to use as a bargaining chip.

I went down to Sanderson Ford in Glendale last week (Wednesday) and they just took my name and number down. How do you guys know what number you are, did you fill out any special info?

I was told until they get order sheets and their allocations they won't be doing anything.

If a dealer has a list, the list is unofficial. In other words, mother ford does not care about a dealer's wait list. Mother Ford only cares about customers when the order banks are open and your dealer submits your name when they have allotment.

BUT, some high volume dealers will create a list and when allotment comes up they will go down their wait list and call their customers.

It is still unclear whether the 2017 Raptor will be under the allotment system. I think Ford will keep it as an allotment truck to generate demand.

There are dealers that historically get lots of allotments because of the volume of their sales, if you go to such a dealer and they say you're on their list, you're probably doing ok. However if you go to a small time dealer and they say you're on their "list", you could wait for eternity for them to get an allotment.

Ok, come on....waiting for the first person to go down to the dealer asking to put on a waiting list and have the dealer tell them they are no longer going to make raptors. You KNOW its coming

The waiting list at my dealer for a GT350 was me as they only got one. If you're that guy then a small dealer is just fine
