I'm tempted to try it, but not sure I want to spend $250 on a tune right now. I think I'll wait to see what others are finding, and maybe a sale (wink wink)

I'm tempted, $250 seems like a lot for one tune. I have an air raid, SW lightning exhaust.

I'm very interested, but going to wait until I see a few more reviews. If I wasn't already "tuned" I'd be all over it. But now it's a question if $250 is worth the upgrade from my existing tune.

I just dropped off my CAI with Jarrett so they can put it on the flow bench to make their new tune even better... They said about a week or two!!

Looks like they really have their act together on this tuning program they are working on. Their taking Raptor tuning to the next level...

Based on what?

Correct the ideal stoichiometric combustion on a gasoline engine is 14.64:1 and this is ideal for cruise and idle operation to maintain good fuel consumption and lower emissions. With most gas stations now carry 10% ethanol we tend to richen our stoichiometric combustion to 14.079 (same as the OEM) since the stoichiometric combustion is richer with ethanol at 9:1.

Under wide open throttle or higher rpms on most NA engines tuners look to target a richer air fuel ratio somewhere around 13.1 to 12.8 to get the best performance out of their engine. With hours and hours of R&D and dyno time we have found the Raptor likes a little bit richer air fuel ratio at 12.5-12.4, with this air fuel ratio it will also ensure your catalyst, exhaust flange and engine temperature stay within the OEM manufacturer specifications to protect these expensive components.

Thanks

Well please let us know when you have a tune ready for those of us running the AFE intake. I will give this a shot when you have it ready.
