The shifter sucks!!!

I love my truck but we gotta find an aftermarket option for the shifter. It’s loose and just doesn’t fit our Raptors. Maybe someone knows of an after market option?

It’s not just a shifter, it’s an electronic module that communicates on the vehicle’s network. It’s not connected to the transmission like a conventional shifter, hence why it feels different. I highly doubt there would be an aftermarket option, especially not one that could be trusted to meet OE spec.

I wonder if you can retrofit a Gen 2 shifter since it’s still using the same 10R80 transmission?

You’d lose roadhead mode though.

I have 2,000 miles on the truck. I disliked the shifter at first, but either it smooths out a bit with time, or I just got used to it. It's fine.

I think you’re right. Gen 4 will just have a dial like the GT500, and after that, we won’t even have gears.
